I love almond milk! Me and my girls use it for smoothies, for our homemade muesli, chia drinks, chia puddings and we also just drink it straight up!
Almonds have high amount of healthy fats and proteins and therefore will give you the feeling of being full when used in good combination with carbohydrates. Almonds have fibers, protein, magnesium and vitamins.

Here’s how you can make your own homemade almond milk!
100 g – whole peeled almonds – 3.5 oz
4 crushed ice cubes
200 ml – water – 7 oz
Put the almonds and crushed ice in the blender. Mix in the blender until puréed. Depending on your blender, you may have to rest it occasionally to prevent it from overheating. Gradually add water until you have a smooth purée. You may want to strain the pulp.
You can drink the almond milk as is, or add fruit to make a smoothie. You can also do this with other types of nuts, such as hazelnuts.
