I hear a lot of excuses practically every day. Which one is yours? Pick one!
- I didn’t get much sleep last night
- I just couldn’t be bothered today
- I just completely forgot
- Oh, I had a girls night out so I couldn’t be bothered turning up
- It was my cousin’s birthday the day before yesterday and I’m just still a bit tired.
- It was so cold outside.
One of my biggest inspirations is my client and good friend Jóhann, which you can see with me in the image at the top of this post. Jóhann has Spinabifida, yet he is a professional athlete and competes in monoskiing at the Paralympics!
Jóhann definitely could make some valid excuses, but he doesn’t. And neither should you!
When it comes to getting results there are 3 main things:
- Having clear goals
- Being organized
- Doing things with passion
Don Wilder hit the nail completely on the head. With endless excuses we will not reach our goals or get the results we want. Sometimes we have to do things we don’t like such as organising our meals, cook healthy food, exercise and shop for healthy foods. I myself love it, and therefore get results, but I know many people hate cooking or exercising. But if you want to see results, there is no magic pill.
Come on! Let’s see that spirit, those goals and that organization!
